Christmas Moss - Vesicularia dubyana
✅These are already in their 💯% aquatic forms - will NOT melt when added to your tank
🌿Christmas moss, also known as Xmas moss (Vesicularia dubyana), is a popular and easy-to-care-for freshwater aquarium plant known for its bright green, feathery appearance. This moss can be used in various ways within an aquascape. It can be tied to hardscape elements like driftwood or rocks, used to create a carpet in the foreground, or even attached to mesh and molded into interesting shapes. Christmas moss is a slow grower but relatively undemanding.
It thrives in a wide range of water conditions, tolerating moderate to low lighting and a pH of 6.0 to 8.0 (with a slightly acidic range of 6.4 to 7.5 being ideal). This adaptability, coupled with its low light needs, makes it a great choice for beginners and low-tech planted tanks.
Ease level: moderate
Size: Christmas moss doesn't have a true "size" in the traditional sense. It grows in dense, spreading mats and can be trimmed or shaped as needed.
Likes: low to moderate lighting
Does not require CO2 injection, but like most aquatic plants, it will thrive better with CO2
Placement: epiphyte
PH: 6.0-8.0
Quantity: one 3” diameter clump/portion
