Anubias Coffefolia

$25.00

✅These are already in their 💯% aquatic forms - will NOT melt when added to your tank

This highly distinctive Anubias species stands out with its striking deep green leaves that are beautifully textured, featuring pronounced veins and a unique puckered or "hammered" appearance. New leaves often emerge with a beautiful reddish-brown or coppery hue, reminiscent of coffee beans (hence its name!), gradually maturing to a rich green.

Like all Anubias, it's an incredibly hardy and low-maintenance epiphyte, making it a fantastic choice for adding a durable, eye-catching focal point or midground accent in any freshwater setup.

Plant Specs:

  • Difficulty: Beginner

  • Size: Can reach 6-10 inches (15-25 cm) in height and spread, forming substantial clumps.

  • CO2: Not required, but CO2 supplementation will promote faster growth and potentially more intense coloration on new leaves.

  • Placement: Epiphyte – best attached to driftwood, rocks, or other decor. Do not bury the rhizome (the thick horizontal stem from which leaves and roots grow) in the substrate, as this will cause it to rot. You can use super glue gel or fishing line to secure it initially. Suitable for midground to background placement.

  • Temperature: 68°-84°F (20°-29°C).

  • Growth Rate: Very slow.

  • Quantity: One Plant
